MP3: Live On East Coast FM

Here’s an mp3 of our performance on East Coast FM this morning, including an acoustic performance of ‘Simple Problems’.

We were appearing to promote our show on the bandstand in Bray this Sunday. There’s live music all weekend as part of local entrepreneur Shane Rowan’s plan to revitalise Bray Seafront with year round activities. We’ll be playing on Sunday at 5pm- hope to see you there!

Thanks to Declan, Ronan & the East Coast crew.

Clockwork Noise On East Coast FM

This Thursday: Dimestore @ Sweeney’s

After an excellent Thursday in Dublin last week at the opening night of Joe’s garage in Pravda, Clockwork Noise are going for two in a row by playing at the Dimestore Recording’s night at Sweeney’s Mongrel.

We’re quite excited about this one, as Sweeney’s is a great place to play, and the lineup is pretty damned good for this week! Clockwork favourites The Cujo Family will also be playing, along with loads more bands and acoustic acts.

The theme of the night is Ying & Yang, so come in black or white, or black and white. As usual, admission is free, and music will be going on til late, so it should be a great night.

We’ll be on at 10, but come down early and partake in some Thursday madness!

Being there early will come with the added bonus of catching a brand new Clockwork Noise song- we’ll be debuting the opening track of our forthcoming album at the start of our set- don’t miss it!

Poster & full lineup below….

*UPDATE*

Just to confirm for those coming from outside Dublin, our set will be finished in time for the last bus & dart out of town!

This Week In Clockworkland 10

Coming to you in a slighly less regular fashion than we’d like, here’s your current Clockwork Noise update!

As things in the Clockwork camp are as busy as ever, most of our regular updates are coming through the likes of twitter, facebook, etc; so apologies for the delay in getting around to writing a meatier blog post.

With that in mind, there’s lots of stuff to get through here- yay!

Since we last spoke the band have played shows aplenty, so some match reports coming up in the readmore:

Arthur’s Day News

Just a quick update on our appearance at the Guinness ‘Our Thursdays‘ heats- we’re no longer playing at Bakers Corner, and will instead be competing at The Beach House in Greystones.

Also on the night will be friends of ours and all round awesome band, The Envelope.

An epic fight to the death will ensue, no doubt, so make sure you come along. If not, be sure to freetext your vote when the magic code is revealed… (just stay posted, I’ll make sense of that last comment tomorrow evening).
