25 / 10 / 09 Clockwork Noise ‘Lost In The Aesthetic’ at Whelans, Dublin
We have some video footage from the gig in Whelans, which was promoted by Clockwork Apple with 8 Ball and Powered by Springs also playing on the night. This is a new song and it was the first time we played it live.

22 / 10 / 09 Clockwork Noise meets Clockwork Apple
Howdy,
What’s going on in Clockwork-land, I hear you ask. Well…
This Saturday night (October 24th) we’ll be playing a show upstairs in Whelans with one of Dublin’s coolest (and best named) promoters, Clockwork Apple. Also playing on the night are 8 Ball and Powered by Springs, so much fun should be had by all. Things will be kicking off at 8pm, with tickets costing a tenner.
We’ve been working like maniacs to prepare for this show- spending our time working on (a) new material and (b) sexing up the regular stuff. Michael has revealed himself to be something of a genius when it comes to harmonies, so we’ve been having fun designing two and three parters to add in to the tracks. Consider this a work in progress, but on Saturday we’ll be throwing in a few tasters. In true Beach Boys fashion. We’d like to think.
As far as new material is concerned, there’ll be two brand spanking new songs in our set, both of which we’re quite excited to be debuting. ‘When We’re Relaxed’ is a kind of a dark pop song, where Chris flexes his catchy-math-rock muscles; and ‘Lost in the Aesthetic’ is a fast paced stomp, with touches of Polka. Yes, Polka (thanks, Mike).
Both are results of our recently exploded level of productivity. We’ve been writing furiously over the past weeks, and should have a few more new ones to release into the world soon enough. Woo hoo!
So hopefully we’ll see you there on Saturday, and hopefully we’ll make you happy. That would be nice.
Til then…
Rob
