28 / 11 / 09 Ballroom of Romance, and More.
We had a great time playing the Lower Deck for Ballroom of Romance last night- thanks again to Allen, and to all the other acts (who were fantastic!).
Things keep on moving in Clockworkland- this week sees us heading in to Phantom FM to record a session with Cathal Funge’s I-Con, something we’re really excited about. The session should be broadcast before Christmas, so we’ll keep everyone posted when we find out exactly when. In the meantime you can request tracks from ‘Yes and No and Everything In Between’ on Phantom by texting 51052.
We’re continuing the build-up to our Twisted Pepper Headliner on December 17th by playing a DLIADT fundraiser in Crawdaddy on December 10th with Little Xs for Eyes, Forward More and Neon Stars.
There’s also word on new recording coming down the pipeline, so more info on that should be coming very soon. The new writing is coming along very well, and there should be some new additions to the setlist for the Twisted Pepper show.
We can’t wait!

05 / 11 / 09 State.ie Review
Yes and No and Everything in Between has been featured in the latest EP roundup at the awesome State.ie.
Check out what they had to say on the original page, or down here-
Clockwork Noise – Yes and No and Everything In Between
Yes and No and Everything In Between, the second release from Bray band Clockwork Noise has been four years in the making, following their 2005 release “If I Wanted, I Could”. Bolstered by violinist and cellist Blaithnaid Healy, the band continue to carve out a unique niche for themselves as a big-sounding indie band with a twist.
At first, vocalist Robert Maguire’s American, emo-indebted vocals are cloying, but paired with a big-hearted indie sound, it does work, to a point. Opener ‘The Cold Shoulder’ and ‘Choose Your Words’ certainly show that Clockwork Noise aren’t short a catchy, fiddle-laden tune or two. Filled to the brim with warmth and emotion, there’s no doubt that there’s a Frames-shaped hole in the market for Clockwork Noise to occupy, and there’s certainly enough potential here for them to begin filling that hole
04 / 11 / 09 Twisted Pepper Headliner
As promised, more gigs are rolling in. Sooooo, we’re delighted to announce that Clockwork Noise will be playing a headline show in The Twisted Pepper on December 17th.
The show is being promoted by the lovely people at Clockwork Apple (no relation), and will also feature the amazing Bellajane.
More info to follow…
Yay.

04 / 11 / 09 EP Review, and General Updates
The lovely, charming and probably rather attractive people over at Connected Magazine have said some nice things about our EP in their November issue. You can pick it up in lots of places around the place for free (Record Stores, Coffee Shops, etc.) and read all about it there.
OK, alternatively you can just read it below. Lazy.
Clockwork Noise- Yes And No And Everything In Between
4/5 stars
Clockwork Noise have taken some time (no pun
intended) with the follow up to debut album ‘If I
Wanted, I Could’ – but it seems worth the wait.
Imagine a softly enunciated Daryl Palumbo (sorry
Glassjaw fans) in a band spanning genres worth
listening to well past the age of 17. This is quite
apparent in track-to-look-out-for ‘Egoeccentric’.
A brilliantly mixed, refreshingly funky, upbeat,
yet relaxing album; take it as a statement of
what’s to come, from a band with all the talent
and drive needed to succeed. Very much looking
forward to the third instalment. -Dave Quinn
In other news, we’re continuing our creative spurt by working away on new material. The two new songs which made their debut at the Clockwork Apple show seemed to go down well, and there should be one or two even newer tracks joining the set in the very near future. Writing is fun.
There are also gigs on the cards- stay tuned.
