As you may be aware, it’s that time of year: awards season, and Clockwork Noise are up for the Best Irish Newcomer category of the Meteor Awards.

The prize includes recording time in Grouse Lodge and a slot at Oxegen… so, needless to say, we really hope we’re in with a shot.

But this category is determined by a public vote, so we need your help! Voting is open now, but only until Monday (January 25th), so we have to move fast.

So if you deem us worthy, please please please visit the awards site (ahem: http://meteormusicawards.meteor.ie/competitions/complist/) and vote for us (cough cough: http://meteormusicawards.meteor.ie/competitions/voting/81/).

We will not only be eternally grateful, but will also figure out some way of showing our appreciation to everyone who voted (a free gig? a free mp3? possibly hugs?).
